ABOUT US

Stone-cutter's workshop TOPAZ was established in 1999 by a man who spent many years in the stonemasonry where he gained valuable experience. From the very beginning the company has been looking for new challenges and inspiration from the prevailing trends and classic icons of stonemason's profession. In our work, we focus on quality and pay attention to the details. We use a lot of manual methods and advanced CNC machines in order to achieve the best effect.

TYPES OF STONE

Natural stone is sourced from rock blocks. Further processing adjust its form to the needs and enables to make almost any element. It is a long-lived material aging beautifully, achieving character and nobility with time. Synthetic materials are products obtained by using modern technologies from natural raw materials. As a result of the work of engineers, the received materials - quartz sinter, quartz-granite, dekton - are characterized by exceptional hardness, mechanical resistance as well as color and design repeatability.

GEMSTONE

We pioneered projects using unique materials such as: Agate, Malachite, Quartz, Amethyst, Tiger Eye, Petrified Tree and many more. Due to their uniqueness, the difficulty of obtaining, specific processing and the usage in jewellery, they are included in the group of precious stones. For the most demanding customers and their specific needs we began to create products for everyday use. Even a little piece of precious stone makes the product classy and prestigious, which underlines the unique character of each interior.

GRANITE

It is a igneous rock, composed mainly of quartz, feldspar and plagioclase. It is color-differentiated (shades of gray, brown, white, pink) with a grained structure. Granite is easily treated, durable, resistant to weather conditions, mechanical damage and abrasion.

MARBLE

Metamorphic rock formed as a result of the transformation of carbonate rocks - limestone and dolomite under the influence of high temperatures and pressure. It is easy to cut, polish and sculpt. It is marked by high durability (slightly smaller than granite). Unfortunately, due to its absorbability, it is not recommended for the wet rooms where stains difficult to remove may appear. Due to the richness of color (black, white, green, blue, pink brown and many others) and design, it is successfully used to decorate floors, walls and countertops.

TRAVERTINE

Sedimentary rock composed of calcite and aragonite. It is very original because of the high porosity and interesting structure. The stone is available in many shades of white, brown, beige and red. It is used as a material for fireplaces or wall cladding. Due to the relatively low resistance to abrasion and brittleness, it is not suitable for the floors and stairs in places with high traffic. Just like marble it absorbs water and may get stained.

ONYX

Semi-precious slate built mainly of calcite or aragonite. It is available in shades of white, yellow, brown, green and black. The surface may be polished to get the mirror effect because of it’s fine-grained structure. It is very solid and resistant to scratches. Onyx is partially transparent and with proper illumination gives a unique and decorative effect. It is used for partitions, wall coverings, furniture, mantles, bathroom countertops and sinks. Onyx is a expensive stone associated with luxury. Due to its fragility, it is not recommended for kitchen countertops and floors.

SANDSTONE

Clastic sedimentary rock composed mainly of sand-sized mineral particles or rock fragments. Sandstone may be any color due to impurities within the minerals, but the most common colors are tan, brown, yellow, red, grey, pink, white, and black. Commonly used for elevations, fireplaces, wall coverings and window sills. It is absorbent and porous, which affects the small resistance to stains and dirt. It’s not recommended for kitchen and bathroom.

SLATE

Sedimentary rock, composed of clays, silts and silty substances. Because of high resistance to the weather conditions and abrasion, it is successfully used outdoors.

LAMINAM SINTERS

It is a composition of natural materials - quartz, shale clays, granite and ceramic pigments. In the manufacturing process the raw materials are compressed and then sintered at a temperature of 1220 ºC. The result of the process are boards with the dimensions of 300 x 100 cm and a thickness of min. 3 mm, which can be precisely cut to the selected size. The material is very resistant to scratches, abrasion and dirt. Often used indoors and outdoors. We are an authorized representative and contractor of the Laminam. More info: www.laminam.pl

COMBINATION OF QUARTZ AND GRANITE

Finishing material which has many utility features. It is a combination of quartz (approximately 94%) and a polyester resin. It is characterized by high durability, resistance to dirt and mechanical damage. It is offered in a wide range of colors and design. It is used especially in bathrooms and kitchens. Available thicknesses: 12, 20, 30 mm with a plate size up to 327 x 161 cm.
